I purchased this grill in December.
The quality of construction is adequate. The manufacturers chose to make it as cheaply as possible while still having a "good" product. They probably could have spent about 50 cents more per unit to make it feel more substantial, but it actually is okay.
It works fairly well but does not seem to heat well enough to truly sear anything. Perhaps that is a limit of the griddle(s) size and 120v.
My biggest peeve, (and it's a big one), is that the grill comes with a large full size advertising decal covering the round black plastic top you see in the pictures. The decal is IMPOSSIBLE to remove. If you try to peel it of, it comes off in microscopic sized pieces. I worked at it for an hour before I made the huge mistake of getting the bottle of goo-gone. Did I mention the top plate is made of (cheap) plastic. Well the goo-gone took off the decal but also messed up the plastic top so now it looks like h#ll. All in all, I'd say the grill would be great in the 70 to 80 dollar range.

This Grill is a must have! We love our grill, we have grilled chicken, beef, hot dogs and the list goes on. We love the easy clean plates & easy assembly. We would most certainly recommend purchasing one.

I have had a Gerorge Forman grill over the 3 years and used it almost every day. After it had died I ordered this grill to replace it. To be fair this works very well. In the add however it showed the square inch of cooking area that was a little larger than my old unit. after having it a short time the round shape just is not as useful as my old unit. Over all a good grill just not the size that I need (or shape???).Customer Review: Nice grill

Mine broke in less than 2 months of use. Just stopped working. The good news is that the customer service is very good and they will be replacing the unit.
However, I do think that the problem is a design flaw. I had a questadilla maker that I constantly had to replace because the steam of the cooking food, combined with the heating coil in the back of the unit, would cause it to permanently shut down(break). This Foreman grill has THE EXACT SAME HEATING COIL in the back of the unit(the coil is completely exposed). I think that's why it stopped working.
I'm hoping the new unit will work but have my doubts.
