Customer Review: Power Problem -otherwise??

This has nothing to do with Amazon. This product came from a brick and mortar store...I just received this grill for Christmas. I grilled sausage on it the first day and they turned out great -no complaints and better tasting than when cooked on a griddle. Unfortunately, during it's second use the power cut out. I thought it was either a curcuit breaker or Groung Fault Switch- it was neither. The dang thing just stopped working. There is no reset and it doesn't seem to have an access panel designed for consumer use. I don't want to open it up and risk violating the warranty. It would be easy to hate except (after two uses) it turned out great food -when it worked. I'm taking it back for a replacement in the hopes that this was just a fluke.

Like all the other Foremans, this one features the sloped non-stick cooking surface that allows grease and fat to drain away. The temperature control and timer ensure your food will be cooked to perfection. Embedded heating elements in both top and bottom speed cooking and seal in moisture and flavor. There is a grill stand available separately to make cooking outdoors even easier and safer.With 200 square inches of grilling space, this version of the celebrated George Foreman Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine grills 12 burgers or chicken breasts at once, perfect for entertaining. The 1500-watt appliance's appeal lies in its simplicity, convenience, and speed--not to mention its fat-fighting ability. Two grills cook burgers, steaks, chicken, sausage, fish, shrimp, and vegetables simultaneously from the top and bottom--indoors or outdoors. The resulting grill marks not only look appetizing but also contribute caramelized flavor. The bottom grill's deep channels collect fat, and the grill is sloped so the fat runs off into a dishwasher-safe aluminum tray (two included) stationed under the unit's front. A floating 2-inch-high hinge permits grilling of extra-thick steaks. One dial on the stay-cool handle controls temperature; the other is a 30-minute timer.
Because the grills are nonstick, cleanup is a snap, requiring just a quick scrape with a plastic spatula (two included) and a quick wipe with a paper towel or a sponge.
