I wasn't real excited at first about getting this grill. I'm really no good at an outdoor grill or broiler or even meat in a fry pan. But this thing is WONDERFUL! I can make my favorite boneless skinless chicken on this without burning it to a crisp or leaving it half done (yuck). My son can have his burgers and actually do it himself (he's 10). We love this thing and since I've gotten it I've used it almost every night. No problems so far, and I've had this for a month and a half now. I wouldn't change a thing about it. There are only two of us so the size is perfect. I guess I wouldn't recommend this for someone who wants to grill more than 4 good sized 1/4 lb. burgers at one time. What a great thing this turned out to be for us.

Super sized "Champ" with bun warmer --- over 50 sq. inches of grilling surface -grills up to 3 extra large burgers. Unique patented contact design grills evenly and patented channels carry run-off grease and fat into separate tray. Thermostat controlled ready light indicates when grill is ready. Has a floating hinge for even cooking. Includes drip tray to catch run-off fat and specially designed spatula.Topped by a bun warmer with a transparent, bright red lid, this 800-watt grill is another variant of the popular George Foreman Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine. Its appeal lies in its simplicity and countertop convenience--not to mention its fat-fighting ability. The double-sided grill (with a 7-by-9-inch nonstick cooking surface) is large enough to simultaneously cook three burgers, steaks, or chicken breasts--or lots of sausage, fish, shrimp, or vegetables--on the top and bottom in minutes. (Recipes accompany the grill.) Grill marks not only look appetizing but also contribute caramelized flavor. The bottom grill's deep channels collect fat, and the grill is sloped so the fat runs off into a dishwasher-safe plastic tray (two are included) stationed under the unit's front. The top grill's hinge floats to accommodate foods of varying thickness.
The nonstick bun warmer draws heat from the grill and can be used while food is grilling or by itself. (The entire unit, grill and bun warmer, turns on by plugging in the power cord.) It not only warms a burger's bun but also warms any bread item, including English muffins, tortillas, pita bread, sliced bagels, and croissants. Because the grill is nonstick, cleanup is a snap, requiring just a quick scrape with a plastic spatula (two are included) and a wipe with a paper towel or a sponge. --Fred Brack
